How HeyEV Began
HeyEV is a growing platform for electric vehicle leasing and financing in India. It started with a clear vision from CEO Gaurav Jindal to make EV ownership and fleet management easier and more organized.
At the time, the EV space was expanding fast, but the tools were scattered. Nothing connected well.
With backend expert Rohan onboard, the team built a single dashboard to manage everything — loans, inventory, service, and collections. This marked the beginning of a complete redesign focused on the needs of India’s electric mobility ecosystem.
HeyEV! is a growing electric vehicle leasing and financing platform. It all started when CEO Gaurav Jindal came up with a clear vision — to make EV ownership and fleet operations easier across India. At that time, the market was growing fast, but the digital tools were messy and disconnected. There was no single place to manage it all.
With backend expert Rohan on the team, HeyEV (previously PointO) introduced the idea of building a dashboard that could bring everything together — loans, inventory, service, collections — all in one place. This marked the beginning of a complete design overhaul tailored for the electric mobility ecosystem.

From a product design standpoint, the challenge was to bring everything under one roof tracking, service alerts, and real-time battery diagnostics — while keeping the experience effortless. The dashboard was built to simplify the complex, presenting detailed status updates like Running status idle | Stopped | Moving.. and charging, discharging device activity in a way that even large fleets could be monitored at a glance. Each workflow was tailored to its user whether underwriting based on driver behavior or tracking the exact charge of a single battery — all stitched together in one cohesive, role-aware interface.
